Indeed we are very grateful for your visit and inquiring about us. In the European Movement Republic of Macedonia, we would like to have as many as possible new friends, contacts and communications, active members as well as supporters of the European idea. The idea of united and federal Europe, Europe-Home of all its citizens and nations, Europe as a common promoter of new humanistic, democratic and cultural values all over the continent and the world, certainly deserves and requires that.
We are part of the International European Movement, established in 1948 as a frame-organization of hundreds and thousands of national, regional and local bodies, of numerous political, civic and non-governmental fora, active in creation of united Europe. In Macedonia, the Movement has been founded in 1991, following the acquisition of independence and sovereignty of the country. Since then, the Movement has been actively contributing to the development of the rule of law, of democratic and social values, of the peace, stability and favourable interethnic relations as well as to the debates on Macedonia's integration into Europe.
