European Movement in the Republic of Macedonia (EMRM) in cooperation with Institute for Geostrategic Research and Foreign Policy – IGRFP of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, supported and co-financed by the Central European Initiative (CEI) Cooperation Fond is organizing, on 20 of September, in Skopje an International Conference with the title “European values and security faced with the Migration and Refugee crises – A Perspective from the Civil Society”. Migration and refugee crisis which European and Western Balkans countries are facing, have open many questions related to the socioeconomic context, humanitarian perspective, human rights and solidarity, security and other dilemmas. That would be topics for debate between representatives from national councils of European movements and civil society’s organizations from country member of Central European initiative and from three non CEI, highly concerned countries with the migrant crises like Germany, Greece and Turkey. Are expected the participants from the state officials, form international organizations and participants from CSO’s organization from national context who are involved in dealing with the refugee’s situation, university professors, experts, researches and other interested audience for this topic.
The Conference will be realized at the Ministry of Foreign Affaires in RM, Grand Amphitheatre, at 09:30h. The Conference program preview two panels and two discussion sessions.
